Christmas is coming (‘Already – please, it comes around so fast’!)
Some of us will be more active than others when it comes to inviting family, friends and colleagues, but let me say that Christmas is one of the easiest times to invite people to church things – we are helped that the retail calendar has been arranged around gospel events (i.e. Christmas and Easter).
There are three intentional steps which will help in inviting someone.
Christmas is upon us (that seems to have happened fast as always). One of my prayers is that you and your wider families have a wonderful, Christ honouring, and blessed Christmas this year.
What a privilege it has been for me to be in ministry of the gospel alongside you. I am so very thankful to God for many of the things that we have been able to do as 5pm Church this last twelve months. Further I am constantly humbled (in a good way) by the responsibility you give me to teach the Bible and direct ministry as your Pastor. Thank you.
Traditions can be good.
Everybody is influenced by tradition! Well, at least to some form of established tradition that may have evolved (intentionally or not) in the families that we come from.
